Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data I collect through this website, why I collect it, who it is shared with, and what you can ask me to do with it. It is written to meet my obligations under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, referred to below as the PDPA.
1. Who I am
This website belongs to Bong Teck En, a licensed real estate salesperson in Singapore.

I am responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Where a transaction proceeds, PropNex Realty Pte Ltd also handles your data as my agency, under its own privacy policy.
2. What I collect
I only collect personal data that you type into the enquiry form yourself. There is no other collection point on this site.

I do not ask for and do not want your NRIC number, financial account details, CPF details, salary figures or income documents through this website. Please do not send them through the form. If they are needed later in a transaction, they are collected separately and securely.
3. Why I use it, and nothing else
I use what you submit only to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- prepare for and hold a consultation with you;
- provide the real estate services you ask for; and
- keep records I am required to keep as a licensed salesperson.
I will not add you to a mailing list, send you marketing, or use your details for any purpose beyond the above without asking you separately first. Your details are never sold.
4. Consent, and how to withdraw it
You give consent by ticking the consent box and submitting the enquiry form. That consent is recorded with your enquiry.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing tecken.bong@propnex.com. I will stop using your data for the purposes above and confirm once done. Withdrawal is free and I will not ask you to justify it. If a transaction is already under way, some data may need to be kept to meet legal and regulatory record-keeping duties, and I will tell you if that applies.
5. Who your data is shared with
Your enquiry is not shared with third parties for their own purposes. It passes through the following service providers, which handle it on my behalf:

Because Formspree operates in the United States and this website is hosted in Hostinger’s Malaysia data centre, your data is transferred outside Singapore. Under the PDPA I am required to take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients protect your data to a standard comparable to the PDPA, and I rely on these providers' own contractual data protection commitments for that purpose.
Beyond this, I disclose personal data only where the law requires it, or where a regulator such as the Council for Estate Agencies requires it.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no visitor tracking or profiling on this site.
The site does load fonts, styling and icons from external providers, and an image from an image host. Loading those files means your device's IP address is visible to those providers as an unavoidable part of how the web works. They are:
- Google Fonts, for typefaces
- Tailwind CSS and unpkg, for styling and icons
- Imgur, for an image
If you click the WhatsApp link, you leave this site and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
7. How long I keep it
I keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any services that follow from it. Where an enquiry does not lead to a transaction, I delete it within two years of our last contact. Where a transaction proceeds, records are kept for the longer period required of licensed salespersons and their agencies by law and by the Council for Estate Agencies.
8. Keeping it secure
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and enquiries are transmitted encrypted. Access to my email inbox is protected by a password and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security, but I take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.
9. Your rights under the PDPA
You may ask me to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you, and tell you how it has been used or disclosed in the past year;
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete; and
- Withdraw consent for its continued use, as set out in section 4.
Email tecken.bong@propnex.com and I will respond as soon as I reasonably can. I do not charge a fee for access or correction requests.
If you are not satisfied with how I have handled your personal data, you may raise it with me first, and you may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore at www.pdpc.gov.sg.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults making property decisions. I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through this site. If you believe a minor has submitted data, please contact me and I will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle personal data, I will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant and affects data already collected, I will seek fresh consent where the PDPA requires it.
